MASKING + HIT EMBOSSING TECHNIQUES, HANDMADE CARDS IDEA

March 30, 2018

Hello and welcome to MyPaperCraft blog.
Today I would like to share with you some tips and ideas for handmade cards using masking techniques.
PAPER:
- CARD BASE - Whisper White Thick, Wisteria Wonder, Basic Black A4 Cardstock cut in half 5-7/8'' x 8-1/4'' (15 x 21cm) score and fold in half.
- TOP LAYER - Whisper White Cardstock measure 3-7/8'' x 5-5/8'' (9,8 x 14,2cm)
For the first card I use the Leaf Punch which coordinate with the Painted Harvest stamp set. I used a sticky note cards to punch the leafs then sponge using the 3 colours: Peer Pizzazz, So Saffron and Calypso Coral, take off the leafs mask and stamp the leaf picture using Versamark pad and emboss it using Gold Stampin' emboss powder. I cut out the sentiment using the Layering Circles Framelits.
For my second card I used the Butterflies Thinlits and I use the negative space of the die, sponge the butterflies using the same Stampin' Pads as my previous card and then stamp the wings shadow from the Watercolor Wings stamp set. For my sentiment I die cut 3 of the congrats words using the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits and stick it together to give more dimention to my card.
For the last card I used again sticky notes and the Swirly Bird stamp set, I tamp the image on the sticky notes and fussy cut it leaving a border, sponge the background using rainbow colors: Wisteria Wonder, Marina Mist, Peer Pizzazz, So Saffron and Calypso Coral, emboss as same as the two previous cards.
