Hello and welcome to my blog today.
26th of March 2017 in UK is Mother's Day and I made pop up card for my mum using Watercolour Wings and Brushwork Alphabet Stamp set and also the Bold Butterfly Framelits Dies by Stampin' Up!
PAPER:
Card Base:
- Whisper White Thick A4 Cardstock cut in half 5-7/8'' x 8-1/2'' (14,9 x 21cm) score and fold in half
Butterflies:
- 1 x Blooms & Bliss DSP measure 10'' x 2-1/2'' ( 25,4cm x 6,4cm), score on LONG side at: 1/2'' , 2'' , 3-1/2'' , 5'' , 6-1/2'' , 8'' , 9-1/2'' (1,2cm ; 5cm ; 8,8cm ; 12,6cm ; 16,4cm ; 20,2cm ; 24cm)
- 1 x piece of Blooms & Bliss DSP measure approx 5'' x 3'' (12,6cm x 7,6cm) for the front panel butterfly.
Fold and burnish all score line on the Blooms & Bliss DSP then fold it in 3 layers (fold every second core line) take the Bold Butterfly Framelits and position it on middle of the 3 layers, middle of the butterfly framelits should be on the middle score line and put through to your Big Shot.
Stamp the Butterflies using 2 steps stamp from the Watercolour Wings using Island Indigo & Mint Macaron or Blushing Bride & Sweet Sugarpum Stampin' Pad.
Use Silver or Gold Metallic Thread to give an accent to your card and attach it using Handheld Stapler. Adhere the one butterfly body to the front of your card using Foam Adhesive Strips and the three butterflies using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
